FIELD: sailing vessels; sports yachts with fore-and- aft sails. SUBSTANCE: sail is held by means of bolt rod fitted in bolt groove whose one end is free; leech of sail is made in form of tube which is fitted on this rod. When it is necessary to quickly free the sail in case of damage to masts-and-sparts, it is good practice to made rod from flexible and brittle material, for example, glass plastic. Rod may be also made from sections which facilitates its mounting and replacement. EFFECT: avoidance of deformation of sail in winding it on masts-and-spars since it is made without bolt rope. |
