The fixing for a heat exchanger made from tubes (12) with fins (14) between and two manifold chambers (18) with tubular walls (20) to which the tubes are attached, consists of at least one fixing plate with its main section (16) brazed to a manifold chamber wall, and a fixing section (28) which extends outwards from the tubes. The plate (24) also has an attachment hook which extends towards the tubes, and a support (36) with a thrust member which presses against the ends of two or more adjacent tubes. The support is flat in shape and is fitted from the main face of the tubes, lying in a plane perpendicular to it. The thrust member is triangular in shape, with a pointed tip connected to two thrust edges
