<p>PURPOSE: To provide an image expanding device which can perform high-speed data processing which is superior in the use efficiency of a process computing element. CONSTITUTION: When an MB synchronizing signal(MBSYNC) indicating the start of a process in one process section of a process unit consisting of a microblock header and respective microblocks is asserted, block data of the microblocks are decoded in timing with the assertion and then next microblock header information is analyzed. The assertion of the MB synchronizing signal is stopped until specific conditions are met. The process of block data of microblocks is always performed at the start of one process section, so the use efficiency of the process computing element is improved.</p> |
