PURPOSE: To improve the dislocation of a support base material to be caused by heating and pressurization at the time when a color proof is prepared, by restricting the thermal contraction rate less than a prescribed value under special measurement of phisical properties of a film. CONSTITUTION: When the support base material is a film, the mechanical properties at the film thickness of 75μm of the support base material of a colored image formation material satisfy at least one of the following conditions: (1) The thermal contraction rate at 150 deg.C is to be 1% or less, preferably 0.5% or less in both directions of the mechanical direction MD and the tangential direction TD at the time of film formation of the film, and further the balance of MD/TD is to be kept or to be MD:MT=1:1. (2) The thermal contraction stress at 130 deg.C is to be 100g/cm<2> or more. (3) The fracture strength at room temperature is to be 20kg/mm<2> or more in both directions of the mechanical direction MD and the tangential direction TD at the time of film formation of the film, and further the balance of MD/TD is to be kept or to be MD:TD≈1:1.
