摘要 PURPOSE: To obtain a radiation detector in which the condensing efficiency of a photoelectric transducer situated at a distant position from a light-emitting position is enhanced and whose radiation detection sensitivity is enhanced as a whole. CONSTITUTION: A large-area and thin scintillator 11 which is arranged at the inside of a detector container 14 and which generates scintillation light in an amount corresponding to a radiation dose to be incident from the outside is installed. A plurality of thin condensing bodies 12 which are arranged in the interior of the detector container 14 so as to be nearly parallel to the large-area and thin scintillator 11 and which condense scintillation light generated inside the large-area and thin scintillator 11 are installed. In addition, a radiation detector is provided with a light-shielding film 15 which is pasted on the detector outside face of the large-area and thin scintillator 11 and with photoelectric transducers 13 whose light-receiving faces are arranged in condensing points of the bodies 12 so as to be directed to the bodies 12 and which convert received light into an electric signal so as to be outputted to a counting circuit.
