SEROLOGICAL TYPING METHOD USING SPECIFIC ANTIGEN FOR TYPE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To sort the type of antibody accurately through a simple apparatus by bringing the first aliquot in a sample liquid continuous contact with a series of type specific antigen or a mixture thereof and then treating the aliquot by discriminative immunoadsorption. SOLUTION: A first aliquot in a sample liquid is brought into contact with a first fixed antigen specific to the first type of antibody to be tested or a mixture thereof on conditions that the quantity of antibody in the sample liquid reactive to the antibody does not exceed the capacity of the mixture of antigen. The treatment is repeated using other antigens specific to other types of antibody to be tested or the mixture thereof. In this regard, the used antigen is separated from the antigen and the like used in the prestage. A second aliquot in the sample liquid is also treated similarly. Immunological reactivity of the fixed antigen or the mixture of antigen with respect to the sample liquid is then measured qualitatively or quantitatively and the type of antibody present in the sample liquid is sorted based on the measurements of reactivity.
