PURPOSE: To provide an electrostatic recorder with no covering at the end and no poor recording concentration. CONSTITUTION: In an electrostatic recorder which is formed with a back layer on one side of a paper substrate, a conductive layer on the opposite side and a dielectric layer thereon in sequence, the back layer mainly contains fourth class ammonium salt type conductive agent and the conductive layer on the opposite side contains 2-15μm major axis needle conductive titanium oxide and fourth class ammonium salt type conductive agent. The electrostatic recorder is fittable to a recording system, selected out of an electrostatic recording system using discharge from an electrode, an electrostatic transfer system to transfer an electrostatic latent image on a photosensitive material and an ion flow control system.
