METHOD OF SYNTHESIS OF ISONIAZIDE-DEXTRAN CONJUGATE

FIELD: organic chemistry, biochemistry, chemistry of high-molecular compounds. SUBSTANCE: method involves oxidation of dextran with sodium periodate, conjugation of prepared dextran dialdehyde with isoniazide and reduction of Schiff's base formed with sodium borohydride. Intermediate dextran dialdehyde is dialyzed obligatory before precipitation with ethanol. Conjugation is carried out by dry isoniazide addition at final concentration 0.3 M and dialyzed product is used before its precipitation with ethanol. EFFECT: increased isoniazide content, purity and stability of preparation.
