摘要 |
PURPOSE: To obtain a magnetic multilayered film having a large angle of Kerr rotation, a high squareness ratio of a Kerr hysteresis loop and high coercive force and a magneto-optical recording medium having a high C-N ratio. CONSTITUTION: Cobalt-based magnetic layers 4 are laminated while interposing Pt- and/or Pd-based transition metal layers 3 one by one. The thickness (dm) of each of the magnetic layers 4 is 0.5-5Å, the thickness (dt) of each of the transition metal layers 3 is 0.5-5Åand the ratio of dm:dt is 2:3 to 3:2. The squareness ratio of a Kerr hysteresis loop of the resultant magnetic multilayered film is >=0.90 and this film is used as a magneto-optical recording film.
