摘要 FIELD: vertical wind tunnels for simulation free fall of parachutists. SUBSTANCE: during deployment of parachute, parachutist will be ejected through hole at base and will freely land nearby. If parachutist has paraplane, he can pick up horizontal velocity in section (a) and if paraplane is modified by fitting it with small power plant, it will gain altitude in section (b). Vertical wind tunnel may be also used for cancelling vertical landing velocity of paraplane. Besides that, paraplane can land on runway as aircraft since it is provided with landing gear and can land vertically, without wid tunnel and landing strip but at lesser comfort. Next stage of modification of this paraplane is manufacture of paraplane with rigid canopy and making payload of streamlined shape. Next stage of modification of flying vehicle is reduction of distance between wind tunnel and center of gravity, use of extensible and plain slots on canopy to avoid air flow break-away and loss of stability and installation of stabilizer on vehicle. Manufacture of jumbo transatlantic flying vehicles provided with nuclear power plants for carrying large cargoes by air is technical problem only. EFFECT: enhanced reliability.
