FIELD: electrical engineering. SUBSTANCE: self-contained traction electric drive has primary motor which sets synchronous generator into rotation. Braking resistors are connected to start ends of each of phase windings. Inputs of two antiparallel connected bridges are connected to start and finish ends of phase windings. Outputs of bridges are connected according to ring circuit to node points of which traction motor phase windings are connected. EFFECT: enlarged operating capabilities. |
