PURPOSE: To obtain an image forming device of high reliability capable of appropriately correcting color slurring by forming a measuring pattern image for every color on an endless carrying means. CONSTITUTION: In each recorder, the measuring pattern image 28 successively developed by a signal from an LD modulation circuit (pattern image signal generating means) 32 outside a transfer paper area is transferred to a transfer belt. Measuring pattern images 28Bk, 28Y, 28M and 28C are successively detected by a sensor 27, the detection signals are sent to counters 29Y, 29M and 29C. For example, the deviation amount from a previously set value is calculated by a relative operation circuit 30 based on the countered value by the counter 29Y. The number of clocks corresponding to an image signal generating timing is changed based on the calculated value. Thus, an image writing timing is changed by an image writing timing generation circuit 31 in accordance with the deviation amount, then, the LD modulation circuit 32 of the recorder is driven at the corrected image writing timing. |
