PURPOSE: To prevent dirt on rollers and a photosensitive lithographic form plate by dipping the halves or more of all rotatable rollers in contact with the photosensitive lithographic plate in developer. CONSTITUTION: In the first area, a photosensitive lithographic form plate (a PS plate) 1 is guided under a developer level by a rotatable guide roller 4. Then, the PS plate 1 is moved through developer along a guide plate 23, held between carrying rollers 5 and guided for the developing surface to be in contact with a brush roller 7 rotating positively to the carrying direction. The PS plate 1 is further guided onto the developer surface by rotatable guide rollers 8-12, held between a pair of squeezing rollers 14 and guided to the second area. In this case, since the halves or more of all rollers 5, 7-12 in contact with the developer in the first area are dipped in the developer, the precipitation of developer component on the peripheries of these rollers 5, 7-12 is prevented and there is no dirt on these rollers 5, 7-12. |
