FIELD: planing deadrise surfaces. SUBSTANCE: planing deadrise surfaces are known on which flow separation edges are located in transverse plane, vertical plane or in plane inclined backward at angle relative to free surface of incoming flow. As speed and consequently dynamic head increase at constant angle of attack, limiting minimum magnitude of elongation of wetted section is achieved at moment of complete emerging of bilges. Later, width and length of wetted sections reduce in proportion relative to each other. Transverse and longitudinal stability of construction reduce as well. EFFECT: reduction of elongation of planing deadrise surface to infinitesimal magnitudes at constant sizes of wetted section by flow separation edge in course of increase of speed at constant angle of attack. |
