<p>PURPOSE: To slow down the read-out speed of a cell transmitting buffer by writing a cell dividing.assembling sublayer protocol data unit (SAR-PDU) to a storage means in a cell unit. CONSTITUTION: The cell transmitting buffer 11 stores the SAR-PDU of an ATM cell in the cell unit for every channel. An SAR-PDU generating part 12 generates the SAR-PDU from received STM data. An SAR-PDU writing.reading part 13 writes this SAR-PDU to the call transmitting buffer 11 or reads the same out of the cell transmitting buffer 11. An ATM cell generating part 14 generates an ATM cell by adding an ATM header to data read out of the cell transmitting buffer 11.</p> |
