The manufacture of the plastic packaging consists of taking from a pre-cut and grooved blank a bottom (2) and large (3) and small (4) sides. Corner pillars (5) which abut the sides are then formed. Different folding edges between the bottom and the sides are prepared by grooving or heating and the sides are then folded square with the bottom and assembled around the pillars by ultrasonic welding (8,9). The installation for preparing the packaging comprises a carousel provided with work stations for the supply of blanks, forming the pillars, heating the edges and folding the sides, an assembly station and a delivery station for the formed packaging. |
