METHOD FOR IDENTIFICATION OF AUTHENTICITY OF BANKNOTE AND DEVICE FOR ITS REALIZATION

FIELD: finances. SUBSTANCE: proposed method uses magnetic inks. Method makes it possible for bank employees and commercial structures to determine genuineness of various securities. The method is based on detection of presence (absence) of ferromagnetic or paramagnetic substance in ink with its usage certain pattern (number) was printed on given banknote. It includes measurement and comparison of magnetic permeability of corresponding sections of pattern (number) of banknote. Device for realization of proposed method comprises sensor in the form of wire coil with core having clearance and electric circuit of signal processing. Working surfaces of pole pieces of core of sensor forming clearance are arranged in one plane parallel to surface of section of pattern (number) of banknote. Summary area of working surfaces of pole pieces of core is comparable with area of tested section of pattern (number) of banknote. Sensor is provided with electromagnetic screen to prevent influence of external magnetic field both on parameters of sensor proper and on results of measurements. Method and device are aimed at solution of the following problems: increased authenticity of test of securities, simplified approach and design of device testing authenticity of banknote. EFFECT: increased efficiency.
