FIELD: agriculture, hydroponic plant growing in hothouses, home conditions and ecologically closed systems. SUBSTANCE: method involves using mineral filament base as substrate, with base being composed of two layers; heating top layer of substrate to provide constant humidity; directing vapors of paraffin hydrocarbons such as paraffins and/or vapors of substances containing paraffin hydrocarbons such as waxes at temperature of 105-125 C through substrate for 1-3 min with vacuum degree at opposite side of substrate of 5-7 mm of water column, with top layer of substrate being preliminarily laid onto rigid grid.
