FIELD: chemical industry. SUBSTANCE: preparation of 5-dichloroacetyl- 3,3,6-trimethyl-9-oxo-1,5-diazobicyclo [4,3,0] nonane (I) by exchange reaction between 3,3,6-trimethyl-9-oxo-1,5- diazabicyclo [4,3,0]nonane (II) and dichloroacetyl chloride in the presence of solvent and base is carried out because (a) this exchange reaction is carried out in two phase system consisting of substantially water- insoluble organic solvent and water and the amount of hydroxide sodium or potassium used as base is selected depending on the amount of dichloroacetyl chloride so that the aqueous phase has pH of 7-9, and (b) the resulting solid product is recovered. EFFECT: more efficient preparation process. |
