<p>PURPOSE: To slow down the read-out speed of a cell transmitting buffer by writing a cell dividing.assembling sublayer protocol data unit (SAR-PDU) in a storage means in a cell unit for every channel. CONSTITUTION: The cell transmitting buffer 11 stores the SAR-PDU of an ATM (asynchronous transfer mode) in the cell unit for very channel. An SAR-PDU generating part 12 generates the SAR-PDU from received STM(synchronous transfer mode) data. An SAR-PDU writing.reading part 13 reads this SAR-PDU to the cell transmitting buffer 11 or reads the same out of the cell transmitting buffer 11. An ATM cell generating part 14 generates an ATM cell by adding an ATM header to the data read out of the call transmitting buffer 11.</p> |
