FIELD: railway transport; heating systems. SUBSTANCE: system has boiler 1 with outlet pipeline 5 connected with expansion tank, air heater, supply and return heating pipes, 6 and 7, respectively, and header connected with outlet pipeline 5, supply heating pipes 6, air heater 4 and expansion tank. Header and expansion tank are made in form of tank 3 with vertical partition 8 mounted on chimney 2. Partition arranged in parallel with generating surface of inclined cover 9 of tank 3 divides tank into expansion chamber 10 and header chamber 11 limited inside by chimney 2. Chambers communicate through slot 12 provided between partition and cover at the top and by placing drain pipe 15 of expansion chamber 10 into outlet pipeline 5 at the bottom.
