<p>PURPOSE: To provide a remote control system which makes video images watchable using a TV by an easy operation by a method wherein, when a VTR remote controller turns-on the power source of a VTR, the controller turns-on the power source of the TV and sends a signal to switch the TV mode to the video mode. CONSTITUTION: A VTR 1 has microcomputers 16 and 14 for VTR- and TV control and, when a remote controller 18 is operated, a remote controlled photo- receiving section 17 receives a signal from the controller 18 and a microcomputer 16 turns-on the power source. Next, an antenna TV/VTR changing switch 6 sets transmission data T, depending on the judgement whether the RF modulator 8 is CH1 or CH2 from the side of a VTR-side terminal 6b. And by setting the data which turns on TV2 on the transmission data T using a microcomputer 14, a TV controller 26 is made to produce light, which is received by a photo- receiving section 23. This signal turns-on the power source of TV2 and the microcomputer 24 sets the tuner section 20 to convert the TV mode to the video mode. By this, video images are automatically watched using TV2 by a simple operation.</p> |
