<p>PURPOSE: To effectively prevent contamination of a periphery of an air blowoff port without bringing suction air containing contaminants into direct contact with the periphery of the blowoff port from within a room to keep the design in the room in a good state. CONSTITUTION: In a blowoff port, in which there are provided a plurality of cone vanes 18a, 18b, 18c which are formed in an approximately hollow truncated cone shape to form an air passage so as to diverge toward downstream side of an outer frame 12 and which are mounted coaxially with the outer frame 12, proximal portions 19a, 19b, 19c on the upstream side of the vanes 18a, 18a, 18c are oriented at least in parallel, in cross section, with a flow of air. Since there is no plane radially protruding for supporting the vanes, there is no hindrance to air flow near the inlet of the vanes so that the air flows from the proximal end portions of the vanes in the straight form, and hence the air flows while being restrained by a diverging part and separation of air from the inner surface of the vanes is not produced and diverging effect is accelerated, thereby preventing contaminants from attaching to the top surface of the periphery of the blowoff port.</p> |
