<p>PURPOSE: To provide a peeling method and an apparatus for removing an insulating coat surely and accurately, regardless of the diameter of the coated wire or thickness of the insulating coating. CONSTITUTION: An opposite pair of supporting rails 4 and 4' are fixed to a supporting body 3 mounted pivotally on a rigid shaft 1. Each peeling head 5 or 5' is mounted on the supporting rail 4 or 4'. After the peeling heads 5 and 5' are moved nearer to each other by rotating a feed screw 12 to cut in a coated wire 16, the supporting body 3 is rotated to cut all the circumference of the insulating coating of the coated wire 16.</p> |
