PURPOSE: To perform the high-speed quadrature detection of quadrature modulation signals by performing a filter operation without performing lining-up and division into even numbered columns and odd numbered columns. CONSTITUTION: An input data column x(nTs) is received, even numbered data in the unit of two data columns in the input data columns on one arithmetic operation table are code inverted, a filter coefficient h(τ) is placed on the other arithmetic operation table, both are multiplied and the respective even numbered and odd numbered multiplied values of all the multiplied values are added, totaled and outputted. Thus, the data column for which N pieces of the quadrature modulation signals are quantized to digital data in a sampling cycle Ts is received and separated and demodulated to the synchronous component and quadrature component of a base band. For the coefficient h(τ) of an IQ addition and division part 16, by using the filter coefficient shifted for the cycle Ts, the data columns from a buffer memory 44 are not divided into the even numbered and odd numbered columns and are directly code converted, the data corresponding to each other by the coefficient h(τ) are multiplied, the even numbered and odd numbered multiplication totals of the output are respectively obtained and thus, processing time is shortened. |
