PURPOSE: To obtain an ultrasonic inspection system for lead sheathed pipe having no beam path difference over the entire surface of ultrasonic probe. CONSTITUTION: In an ultrasonic inspection system for lead sheathed pipe in which an ultrasonic wave is radiated from the ultrasonic wave radiation surface 20 of an ultrasonic probe 1 disposed on the outside of a lead sheathed pipe 10 and the reflected wave therefrom is detected, the ultrasonic wave radiation surface 20 is directed radially inward of the lead sheathed pipe 10 while inclining in the axial direction thereof and the ultrasonic wave radiation surface 20 is curved such that a constant distance is kept with respect to the outer circumferential circle 23 of the lead sheathed pipe 10.
