PURPOSE: To operate the image forming device as a copying machine without being affected by a time required when an image signal from a host computer is subject to raster processing by a controller in the image forming system where the host computer, the controller and the image forming device are in existence. CONSTITUTION: The image forming device 103 is a device forming a hard copy with a signal from a built-in image memory 104 and the device 103 is a copying machine itself but acts like a printer for a host computer 102. An image signal from the host computer 101 is subjected to raster processing by the controller 102 and written directly in the image memory 104. The image memory 104 being a unit writes simultaneously the image signal from the controller 102 and an image signal from an original read means (not shown) in the image forming device 103. |
