<p>PURPOSE: To provide the plasma display provided with a digitizer to be used for inputting picture information, etc., prevented from a burn-in phenomenon. CONSTITUTION: A pen coordinate signal S1 indicating the position on the digitizer 2 of a pen 1 is inputted to an integration circuit 4 via an amplifier 3 and is integrated to be made to be a pen coordinate signal S2, which is binarized in a Schmitt circuit 5. A re-triggerable monostable multivibrator (MM) 6 is triggered by the output S3 and when the cycle of the signal S3 is longer than a set time constant, the inverted output S4 becomes a logic 1. This output S4 is inputted to a MPU 7 and when the S4 is the logic 1, the MPU 7 outputs a display inversion signal S5 by regarding that a pen input is not present during a time longer than the period set in the re-triggerable MM 6. A video signal is inverted to be reverse-displayed on a display part 9 by controlling the inversion control circuit 8 of a plasma display by this signal 5. Thus, the light emitting efficiency of the screen of the plasma display is averaged.</p> |
