PURPOSE: To exactly detect the camera-shake at the time of photographing. CONSTITUTION: Reading of a signal voltage VD corresponding to the displacement quantity of a camera body is started from the point of the time when shutter vanes 40 open. The reading of the signal voltage VD is ended at the point of the time when the shutter vanes 40 close. The reference displacement quantity VW is calculated around the signal voltage VD of the time when the shutter vanes 40 open. The time of the signal voltage VD exceeding this reference displacement quantity VW is calculated as displacement time Ti . A displacement time ratio Tdef is calculated by executing calculation of Ti /TS from the displacement time Ti and the exposure period TS. The value of the displacement time ratio Tdef indicates the ratio of the displacement time of the camera body occupying in the exposure period. The displacement time ratio Tdef is compared with a reference displacement time ratio Tref which is the permissible threshold of camera-shake. The camera-shake is warned at the time of Tdef >=Tref .
