PURPOSE: To enhance handling capability and contact reliability by installing a plurality of contacts, an insulator part, and a U-shaped holding part in which a projection for fixing to a printed circuit board and a projection for locking are formed. CONSTITUTION: A flat cable 201 is moved in the direction (an arrow A) parallel to a printed circuit board 301, a cable conductor 202 positioned at the tip of the flat cable 201 is set to a U-groove 106 held with the insulator part 101 to mechanically fix the tip for electrically connecting. A connector 100 fixed with the cable 201 is moved in the direction (an arrow B) vertical to the printed circuit board 301, and a pair of fixing projections 105 are fixed to holes 301a, 302b of the printed circuit board 301. Then, the connector 100 is slid in the direction (an arrow C) parallel to the printed circuit board 301, the connector 100 and the printed circuit board 301 are mechanically fixed, and a contact part 107 of a contact 102 is brought into strong contact with a pad part 303. |
