PURPOSE: To easily perform adjustment between a magnetic head and a pad roller and to easily perform maintenance such as the cleaning of the magnetic head, etc., by interposing an adjusting screw by which the tilting operation of the loose terminal of a mounting plate is performed between the mounting plate and a fixing part. CONSTITUTION: When the size relation of right and left gapsδ1,δ2 is shown asδ1>δ2, the tilting operation of the loose terminal of the mounting plate 16 in the counterclockwise direction is performed setting the contract part 18 of the mounting plate 16 as a fulcrum by performing the forward-screwing (retreating) operation of the adjusting screw 21 in a direction of arrowhead (b). Therefore, the right and left gapsδ1,δ2 are adjusted in the relation ofδ1=δ2 by applying the proximity adjustment of the other terminal of a supporting shaft 14 cantilever-supported in the center part of the mounting plate 16 to the magnetic head 7. In such a way, since the right and left gapsδ1,δ2 are adjusted by the forward-screwing (advancing or retreating) operation of only a single adjusting screw 21, the adjustment of the gap between the magnetic head 7 and the pad roller 9 is extremely easily performed.
