PURPOSE: To prevent a heat storage body or a duct from being blocked by metals having low boiling point by a method wherein a melting burner and the other burners are opposed and the remaining part of exhaust gas of combustion is discharged out of a flue so that the ratio of amount of exhaust gas of combustion of a heat storage type burner to the amount of passing exhaust gas of a heat storage body becomes lower than a set value. CONSTITUTION: Heat storage type burners 6, 8 are arranged in a flue 13 so as to be opposed at positions apart from each other. The amount Q of exhaust gas of combustion is operated from the amount of combustion air, measured by an air flow meter 11, by the constituents of kerosene. The amount QC of exhaust gas, passing through a heat storage body 5 or another heat storage body 7, is measured by an exhaust gas flow meter 12. The opening degree of an exhaust gas damper 15, provided in the flue 13, is regulated by a regulating meter so that the value of QC/Q becomes a set value or 60%, for example. A part of exhaust gas of combustion, which entered the flue 13, is discharged out of a stack 9 through an exhaust gas blower 16. The gas of low-boiling point metals or the like, which is generated by the melting of the ash of incineration, is cooled in a cooler 14 to coagulate and separate it through a gas treating device 17. |
