The cap (5), e.g. for a supple tube dispenser (4) with ahead (7) having a flat cover (8) with a dispensing aperture (11), is connected to the head by a peripheral hinge (13), and is made in one piece with the tube by injection moulding from a thermoplastic material, with the foot (14) of the hinge inscribed within the circumference of the tube's skirt (6). The hinge is made from a thin portion of the moulded material extending between the periphery of the head and the periphery of the cap, and it incorporates a moulded spring to hold it in two stable positions - closed and open. The cap has a central peg (15) which blocks the dispensing aperture when closed.
