A supply nozzle (2) is slidably mounted to move between lower (11) and upper stops, and is engageable with a filling opening of a bottle (4) including a closure valve (5). A blocking ring (13) surrounds the nozzle and is moved longitudinally by engagement with one of the stops as the nozzle slides relative to the bottle. Movement of the ring relative to the nozzle closes or frees air (9) and liquid (10) passages in the nozzle walls to allow fluid passage from the nozzle into the bottle. A pair of sealing rings (14,15) ensure a liquid-tight engagement between the nozzle and the walls of the bottle opening.
