<p>PURPOSE: To provide an induction generator which can generate electricity in condition that it is cut off other power source without needing a phase- advancing capacitor. CONSTITUTION: This induction generator is equipped with an excitor (permanent magnet type synchronous generator) 3 whose rotor is directly connected to the rotor of its own and whose armature winding is connected to the armature winding of its own, and besides the number P1 of poles of this excitor 3 and the number P2 of poles of this induction generator 2 are set to be in the relation of P2 =P1 +2, therefore this induction generator 2 generates electricity, being supplied with reactive power from the excitor 3.</p> |
