FIELD: astronomy. SUBSTANCE: telescope has ball-type casing with input opening. Optical system is placed coaxially with the opening along optical axis in the plane of the casing. Secondary mirror is installed through spiders in zone of the input opening such that it may be rotated in two perpendicular planes and axial movement. The main mirror is installed in a rim secured on stiffness rib made on the casing wall that is opposite to the input opening. Ball-type casing is movable on immovable base. A bed is installed on the base to be rotated azimuthally. The bed is provided with guides for angular revolution of telescope casing. Diameter of the input opening is 1.001 - 1.1 diameter of the main mirror. EFFECT: high efficiency. 1 dwg
