FIELD: medicine; particularly, prosthetics of hip joints. SUBSTANCE: acetabular component of endoprosthesis of hip joint has metal cup and polymer insert which is introduced into internal cavity of cup. Spherical part of metal cup has cuts extending from its top to its base and forming movable segments. Transverse recesses are made in points of cojugation of cup spherical part with the conical part of insert. Connections between transverse recesses fulfil the function of flexible support. External side of movable segments have rows of teeth with cutting edges. Upper faces of teeth are located over tangent line to the trajectory of their motion in turn relative to flexible support. External side of conical part of metal cup has multistart thread. EFFECT: higher efficiency.
