PURPOSE: To provide a function test device which can improve the safety of function tests of aircraft, can reduce the test manhour, and also can simplify the change, addition, deletion, etc., of the test procedures. CONSTITUTION: A controller 11 previously stores a test program, a test procedure data base and an actuator control data base and controls a display device 12, a function generator 13, an extension unit 14 and a printer 15. The test procedures, the operating instructions, the name of the control output signal, the output value, etc., are described in the test procedure data base. Then the controller 11 selects a desired test procedure out of the test procedure data base based on the test program and translates the selected data to carry out a function test. This test result is displayed on the device 12 and outputted to the printer 15. The description contents of the test procedure data base which are stored in the controller 11 are rewritable, and the test procedures can be changed, added and deleted by the rewriting of the description contents. |
