PURPOSE: To obtain a protective device which prevents an abnormal phenomenon when the life of a motor is finished by a method wherein, when the integrated time of the use of the motor reaches a set time, the rotation of the motor is stopped and the power-supply line of the motor is continued to be cut off. CONSTITUTION: A timer part 13 outputs an output signal when a set time is reached. The output signal is transmitted to a main control device 12 and to a cutoff-command-signal generation part 14. The main control device 12 transmits a command to stop a motor to an inverter control device 10, to a main-circuit magnetic contactor 3, to a first DC electromagnetic contactor 5 and to a second DC electromagnetic contactor 6a, and the motor is stopped. A first cutoff-command-signal generation part 14 outputs a cutoff-command signal in such a way that a main-circuit electromagnetic contactor 15 continues to cut off the power-supply line of the motor. As a result, the power-supply line of the motor continues to be cut off by the cutoff operation of the main- circuit electromagnetic contactor 15. |
