PURPOSE: To prevent a coil manufacturing equipment from making a winding failure even if a positional relation error occurs between a coil former and an element wire guide. CONSTITUTION: An element wire 15 is guided by an element wire guide 16 and wound on a coil former 8. The element wire guide 16 has such a function that it can be manually operated, and the movement of the guide 16 is measured and stored by manually operating the guide 16 at the winding start of each layer of a coil or in a winding operation. A dimensional error induced at the assembly of a coil former 4 and a mounting dimensional error induced when the coil former 4 is mounted and fixed to a main shaft are corrected by adding the stored movement to the winding start position data of each layer of the coil. |
