PURPOSE: To provide a positive electrode capable of manufacturing a nickel- hydrogen secondary battery wherein a charge receiving property at high temperature is improved. CONSTITUTION: In the positive electrode for this nickel-hydrogen secondary battery, a mix having active material or nickel hydroxide is carried on a collector. In the mix, at least one kind is contained which is selected from the group of chloride of calcium and/or the hydrate of the calcium, sulfur-containing compound of the calcium and/or the hydrate of the calcium, calcium zirconium acid, calcium boric acid, calcium carbonate, calcium metasilicate, and calcium D-gluconic acid. |
