Local underground container for active and passive network components

The underground container consists of several individual segments (2) in a row. Active and passive components are arranged in the individual segments split according to their functions. The individual segments are directly connected to each other or interconnected via cable leads. The segments may be sealed by highly viscous bitumen and their height can be adjusted. Any extra length of cable may be screwed into the internal section of the individual segments. Components which can be held in the container segments include power supplies and televisions and telecommunications equipment. Each segment has a cover at street level. Terminating segments at the two sides of the row are ended with cover plates (3) comprising lead-throughs (4).
