Treatment unit for paper machine textiles

An installation is for the heat treatment of paper machine textiles, which run in the form of a web over a heated roller. It features a heatable plate (5) which is curved to adapt it to the roller and heats the web running over the roller from the outside of the web. The plate (5) has interior ducts/passages (7) for the throughflow of the heat carrier. The ducts (7) are positioned in the direction of the machine and can discharge different amounts of heat singly or in sections so that a temperature gradient is achieved across the web.
