In a device with a receiver circuit for receiving teletext signals which are transmitted together with television signals, having a teletext decoder and a clock-time display device, it is provided that a free-running clock-time timing generator driven by a frequency-stabilised oscillator is provided which generates clock-time data for outputting to the clock time display device and which has a synchronisation circuit which synchronises the clock-time data with the decoded clock-time data transmitted in the teletext.
