The invention relates to a product carrier to be used for internal transport and treatment of garments in, for example, laundries. The invention includes that garments are hung up on hangers in a hanging station, which hangers thereafter automatically are pushed up into a product carrier according to the invention, which product carrier is carried forward on a rail or the like to different working stations or for removal. The product carrier and the garment are marked and the marking is transmitted to a computer which guides the way of the product carrier on the rail and removal of a selected hanger.
