The table (2) is mounted on a machine frame, preferably clad, and accommodates a first fixed bending tool, and a second tool (4) slid towards it, preferably by a ram (8). The second tool has couplings (9, 22) for the ram both above and below the table. The ram is adjustable via an opening in the table, so as to align with one of the couplings. There can be an oblong rectangular-section guide track for the tool (4) in the table. The opening for the ram in the table can be rectangular, running in the lengthwise direction on the opposite side to the guide.
