Novel beta and gamma-modifications of known mono:azo dye

beta -and psi modifications of the monoazo dye of formula (I) (obtd. as per DE 1544451 or EP240902) are claimed, as are also methods for their prepn., the modifications having the following 2 phi lines in their Cu-K alpha X-ray diagrams; beta modification: strong intensity at 4.9; 13.95; 17.15; 19.4; 21.85; 25.2; 26.05; and 28.75; and medium intensity at 16.0; 24.3; 27.3; 30.0 and 31.15. psi modification: strong intensity at 11.57; 14.90; 17.14; 20.64; 24-35; 25.05 and 26.37; and medium intensity at 10.26; 13.71; 16.81; 18.71; 20.94; 22.07; 23.84; 28.81; and 29.69.
