Plastics housing wraps around or snaps onto multi-wire harness connector to compress gel (or other sealant) around and against wires and connector. Wraparound hinged or separate half-shells snap-fitted together. Wall aperture with closure flaps possibly carrying gel described as alternative. Expansion-compensating means such as corrugated housing, spring plungers, snap-invertable convex wall sections, and foam layers are among main features. Assembly kits and methods are also covered.
