Cable car cabin positioning device

The positioning device, used to position the cable car cabin (1) at a station (3), has a fixing device (2) displaced between two operative positions, in which it lies out of the pendulation range of the cabin and in which it provides a fixed coupling between the cabin and the station respectively. A movable step plate (20) is coupled to the fixing device, for bridging the free space between the cabin and the station in the fixed position of the cabin, the coupling providing a delay between the operation of the coupling device and the step plate.
