<p>A latch assembly wherein a retractor member conjointly lowers a stop which is preventing latch bolt retraction and rotates a cam which will retract the bolt. A deadlatch bolt stop, which limits the forward displacement of the deadlatch bolt relative to the latch bolt, can be brought into engagement with the latch bolt since it can deflect the stop, which is preventing latch bolt retraction, down out of its way.</p> |
